The Oil Filter is a major component to the compressor, although often overlooked as important. For a compressor to run at optimal performance the oil needs to be clean to ensure bearings / gear trains etc. are properly lubricated for smooth running, so in order for the oil to remain clean you need to ensure a high quality Oil Filter is fitted.

Air/Oil Separators are based upon the Principles of Coalescence, whereby Micro-Glass fibre layers separate drops of Oil from the Compressed Air and simply return them to the Oil Circuit.
The separation process is simple, effective and can be performs all the way to Sub-micron levels. This principle means that the compressors oil consumption and also the level of oil making it's way into the Air is kept to an absolute minimum.
